Pleasant View Mennonite Church (Larned, Kansas, USA)

Pleasant View Mennonite Church (MC), was located in Larned, Pawnee County, Kansas, and in now extinct. It was founded by the Kings, Zooks, and others when they met for worship in the Eureka schoolhouse in 1885 and thus was known as the Eureka Mennonite Church. It built a meetinghouse in 1895. Its first minister was David S. King, ordained for this congregation. In the 1908 Yearbook it is listed with 15 members but it does not appear again until the 1916 Yearbook, when it is called the Pleasant View Mennonite Church (membership not given). Others who served the church include Peter Zimmerman, J. B. Brunk, Edward Diener, and Harry Diener. It was last listed in the 1942 Yearbook, with 17 members but without a pastor.
