Pleasantview Home for the Aged (Kalona, Iowa, USA)

Pleasantview Home for the Aged, at Kalona, Iowa, a 46-room home built and operated by the Mennon­ite Benevolent Association consisting of 33 mem­bers representing the Mennonite, Conservative Men­nonite, and Beachy Amish congregations of the community. It was built in 1957-1958 at an approxi­mate cost of $250,000, and was opened for service on 14 April 1958.
