Rinske Obbedochter (d. 1535)

Rinske Obbedochter was taken prisoner when the soldiers of the governor of Friesland recaptured the Oldeklooster near Bolsward on 7 April 1535, which had been taken by a group of revolutionary Anabaptists a few days before. She was conducted to Leeuwarden, capital of Friesland, and on 14 April 1535, sentenced to be executed by drowning.
