Vredehandelingen

Vredehandelingen, openbaar ghehouden tot Amster­dam den 3, 4, en 5 October 1630, tusschen de Dienaren der Vlaemsche Ghemeente ter eender ende de Vereenigde Hoogduytschen en Vriesen ter under zyde (Amsterdam, 1630), and the same booklet followed by Een korte Vertooninge van het gene . . . vorder gehandelt is in de Vergaderinghe . . . 1636 (Haarlem, 1636), are two books mentioned by Schaen, now apparently lost, which give the negotia­tions leading in 1639 to the merger of the Flemish congregation of Amsterdam with the High German and Frisian group. The most important facts of these negotiations are also found in Kort Verhael van de Vereeniginghe tusschen de Doopsgesinde Ghemeynten (1639).
