Westergeest (Friesland, Netherlands)
Westergeest, a hamlet in the northeastern part of the Dutch province of Friesland, where Leenaert Bouwens baptized five persons in 1563-65, and ten in 1568-82. Since there was never a congregation at Westergeest, the converts may have joined a neighboring congregation like Dokkum or Dantumawoude.
