Wijns (Friesland, Netherlands)

Wijns, a village in the Dutch province of Friesland, where Leenaert Bouwens baptized 21 persons in 1568-82. Since nothing is known concerning a Mennonite congregation at Wijns, it is assumed that the newly baptized joined a neighboring church.
