Bakels, Herman (1871-1952)Herman Bakels , born 25 July 1871, died 22 July 1952, served as pastor in Warns, 1895-1901, Enkhuizen, 1901-1907, and finally in St. Anna-Parochie, 1908-1909, and 1911-1916. Of his various writings those of greatest interest to us are Het volk van Menno (Leiden, 1918), and Beknopt Bijbelsch Woordenboek (first ed. Amsterdam, 1917).
