Brubacher (Brubacker, Brubaker, Brubaher, Brupacher) familyBrubacher is a Swiss Mennonite family name from the canton of Zürich. One of the converts of Blaurock was a certain Hans Brubacher of Zumikon, canton of Zürich. Another Hans Brubacher immigrated to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in about 1710. Hans settled on 500 acres of land along the Little Conestoga in West Hempfield Township, Lancaster County, and there built a grist- and sawmill.
