Carrot River Mennonite Church (Carrot River, Saskatchewan, Canada)

The Carrot River congregation began services in 1926, and formally organized in 1929. The congregation was a part of the Hoffnungsfelder group of churches until 1960. The first building was occupied in 1928, with a subsequent building program in 1960. Benjamin Ewert is considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through colonization from other Saskatchewan communities. The language of worship is English; the transition from German occurred in the 1960s.
