Collingwood Evangelical Missionary Church (Collingwood, Ontario, Canada)15 Cameron St., Collingwood, ON, L9Y 2J1. (705) 445-4972. Located on the north side of Cameron St., 0.1 mile west of Hwy. 24. Pastor Mike Bryant served in 2001 as a congregational leader. In 1975 there were 49 members; in 1985 62; in 1995 43; in 2000, 35. The congregation affiliated with the Mennonite Brethren in Christ and currently is part of the Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada. The language of worship is English. The congregation began services as a city mission in 1897, and formally organized in 1901. The first building was occupied in 1919. A new facility was completed in 1957. Sarah Madden and Eliza Williams are considered the founding leaders of the group. The congregation originated through outreach of the Mennonite Brethren in Christ church.
