The language of worship is French. Église Chrétienne de St-Jérôme began services in 1961, and formally organized in 1964. The first building was occupied in 1964; the congregation moved to a new location in 1994. Ernest Dyck is considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through outreach by the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches in Quebec. St-Jérôme was the first Mennonite Brethren church in Quebec.
