Geryt Meynerts (d. 1531)

Geryt Meynerts, a goldsmith of Amsterdam, was one of the first Anabaptists in the Netherlands. He was charged with lutherie (heresy) and rebaptism, and although he recanted he was sentenced at The Hague on 5 December 1531, together with Jan Volkertsz Trypmaker and other Anabaptists.
