Groote Bundel (Large Collection), the popular designation for the Dutch Mennonite hymnbook adopted by the Amsterdam congregation de Zon in 1796 and soon also used by many other congregations. The official title was: Christelijke Gezangen voor de openbaare godsdienstoefeningen. It was first published by J. C. Sepp en Zoon at Amsterdam and contained 165 songs. The hymnbook issued by the Mennonite congregation at Altona, Germany (1802), under exactly the same title, took some hymns from the Groote Bundel. When de Zon united with Lam in 1801, the Groote Bundel remained in use. In Amsterdam it was discontinued in 1870, but in 1900 it was still used in 35 congregations, in 1940 only by the congregation of Holwerd, which used it until 1946.
