Mathijs Baseliers (d. 1573)Mathijs Baseliers was an Anabaptist martyr, and was burned at the stake with three others on 20 May 1573 at Antwerp, Belgium, because he had been (re)-baptized, had attended forbidden meetings (of the Mennonites) and had held such meetings in his house.
