Vanderhoof Mennonite Church (Vanderhoof, British Columbia, Canada)

The Vanderhoof Mennonite congregation near Vanderhoof, BC began services in 1979, and formally organized in 1980. The first building was occupied in 1980. David Burkholder is considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through outreach by the Eastern Pennsylvania Mennonite Church.

In 1985 there were 34 members; in 1995, 55; in 2000, 61. The congregation has been affiliated with the Eastern Pennsylvania Mennonite Church. The language of worship is English.

The congregation's address is R.R.2, Box 8, Site 9, Vanderhoof, BC, V0J 3A0. The church is located on Derksen Rd. two km east. Ministers Abram Guenter and Joseph S. Wadel served in 2001 as non-salaried congregational leaders.
