Govertsz, Joost (17th century)

Joost Govertsz was a co-worker with Tieleman van Braght in the preparation of the Martyrs' Mirror. For the church at Hoorn Govertsz collected records in Brabant. By this comprehensive work the dependability of the Martyrs' Mirror was greatly enhanced; more recent research has frequently confirmed his statements.
