Herald of Truth (Uniontown, Ohio) (Periodical)

Herald of Truth, a 16-page 9 x 12 in. (23 x 30.5 cm.), monthly, prined by the offset process, published at Uniontown, Ohio, by a Publication Board representing two congregations in Ohio which had withdrawn from the Conservative Mennonite Conference in 1956 and one in Ontario which had withdrawn from the Ontario Amish Mennonite Conference in 1956. John J. Overholt was the editor from the beginning. In January 1959 the Publication Board merged with the Board of Directors of the Pilgrim Mennonite Press to form a new board called Herald of Truth Publications, which announced its intention to publish a youth periodical and Sunday-school lesson helps for all age levels, also tracts on timely topics. The first issue of the periodical was April 1957.
