Leuvenig, Van, familyThe van Leuvenig (Leuvenich, Leuvenigh) Dutch Mennonite family, a branch of the Krefeld von Loevenich family, is found at Amsterdam, where they usually were cloth merchants. They joined the Amsterdam Zonist congregation. Deacons of this congregation were Sander Hans van Leuvenich 1670-1674, 1682-1686, Abraham van Leuvenigh 1684-1688, 1703-1706, Steven van Leuvenigh 1722-1726, Hendrik van Leuvenigh 1758-1762, 1768-1772, Gerrit van Leuvenigh 1763-1766, 1773-1776, and Pieter Johan van Leuvenig 1782-1786, 1791-1806.
