Moller, Lorenz (16th century)

Moller (Müller), Lorenz, of Görmar, a village near Mühlhausen in Thuringia, an active Anabaptist, associate of Ludwig Spon of Ershausen, Hans Rinkleben of Oberdorla, and Klaus Scharf of Mühlhausen, was arrested in May 1533 with six others, then freed, arrested again in January 1535 at Mühlhausen, and again released in mid-1535. He seems to have been unstable, and probably at least twice left and rejoined the Anabaptist group in northern Thuringia. Nothing is known of his further career.
