Pieter de Jonckheere (d. 1562)Pieter de Jonckheere, an Anabaptist martyr, brother of the martyrs Vijnken, Goudeken, and Janneken de Jonckheere, was burned at the stake on 12 March 1562, at Ghent, Belgium. He was born at Merendree, Flanders. Further particulars are lacking, except that he was in prison before 5 December 1561, and that he remained steadfast. BibliographyVerheyden, A. L. E.
