Stemen Mennonite Church (Pickerington, Ohio, USA)Stemen Mennonite (Mennonite Church) Church (now extinct), located near Pickerington, Franklin County, Ohio. The meetinghouse was built about 1890 by Benoni Stemen, a wealthy farmer and successful breeder of Galloway cattle. He settled his children on farms around his own and sought to revive the declining interest in the Mennonite faith. But efforts to establish a Sunday school failed; the young people preferred the services in the "English" churches, and the building, falling into disuse, was sold and the benches removed to the Turkey Run Mennonite Church in Perry County.
