Sixty Years of Peace and Plenty: Mennonite Refugees Remember

The Mennonite Historical Society of British Columbia is hosting an afternoon of visiting, displays, and a showing of the film The Great Trek in honour of the 60th anniversary of the coming of Mennonites to Canada from Europe after World War II.  In the evening the society's annual banquet will be held at 6:00 p.m. with Dr. Harry Loewen as guest speaker.  A Sunday afternoon celebration will follow on October 19 at 2:30 p.m. All events are at the Emmanuel Mennonite Church in Abbotsford.
