Jehan (Hans) Cant, an Anabaptist martyr, a native of St. Winnoxbergen, Flanders, was burned at the stake at Bruges, Belgium, on 11 December 1561. He is not named in van Braght's Martyrs' Mirror. He is perhaps identical either with Hansken Parmentier or Hans Lisz, both found in the Martyrs' Mirror (Dutch edition, 288, English edition, 655).
