Daniel Grimm, a Mennonite preacher in the [[Emmental (Switzerland)|Emmental]], [[Switzerland|Switzerland]], a follower of [[Reist, Hans (17th/18th century)|Hans Reist]], was opposed to the emigration of the Mennonites to the [[Netherlands|Netherlands]] in 1711.
