The Mennonite Disciples Swahili Church in Ottawa, Ontario, began meeting at the Ottawa Mennonite Church in 2017. It worships primarily in Swahili. The congregation is a mix of newer and older immigrants from the Swahili-speaking nations of East Africa, most are originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Pastors Cryspin Isenge and Garant Sungura have provided pastoral leadership for this congregation of 30-45 persons.
The Mennonite Disciples Swahili Church became a provisional member of Mennonite Church Eastern Canada in April 2024.
