Upckes, Hendrik (d. 1731)

Hendri(c)k Upckes, d. 1731 at Workum in Friesland, Netherlands, a wool carder by trade, was from 1708 until his death an untrained and unsalaried Mennonite preacher in his home town, where he served with much blessing. He is said to have written a book on the origin of the Mennonites, but this book is unknown and all information about it is lacking.
