Simmie Hutterite Colony in Simmie, Saskatchewan, was founded in 1964 (Hofer says 1961)[1] as a division from the New York Hutterite Colony.

Daughter colonies of the Simmie Hutterite Colony include: Sunset Hutterite Colony (Admiral, Saskatchewan, Canada); and Swift Current Hutterite Colony (Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada).

In 2021 the Simmie Hutterite Colony was a Dariusleut colony.
