Mennonite Disciples Mission planted the church, which is led by Pastor Ayeba Amuri. Pastor Ayeba was a member of the Mennonite church in Africa since 1996.

The congregation includes immigrants from [[Congo, Democratic Republic of|Congo]], Central African Republic, [[Côte d'Ivoire|Ivory Coast]], Cameroon, and [[Chad]].
