She was born at West-Vleteren in [[Flanders (Belgium)|Flanders]], was the wife of Kaerle de Vos, and was rebaptized in 1536. She was connected with the congregation at [[Ghent (Oost-Vlaanderen, Belgium)|Ghent]] and probably lived there. She was seized at [[Bruges (West-Vlaanderen, Belgium)|Bruges]], in [[Belgium|Belgium]], and on 28 August 1536 was burned at the stake there.
