The Alexandertal Secondary School was located in the Alexandertal Mennonite settlement in the province of Samara, Russia. This school differed somewhat from the pattern of the Mennonite Zentralschule. The Zentralschule was a parochial Mennonite secondary school in Russia supported and controlled by the Mennonite constituency. The Alexandertal Secondary School was supported by government funds, although religious instruction and German were strongly emphasized.
