Allentown, county seat of Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, population (2000) 106,632. The first Mennonites came to the city in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. There were two Mennonite churches in Allentown: The Allentown Mennonite Church and the First Mennonite Church.
