Baltasar de Rosieres (Rogiers, Rogieris), an [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]] martyr, burned at the stake on the "Big Market" at [[Antwerp (Belgium)|Antwerp]] on 2 April 1569 with [[Jan de Timmerman (1543?-1569)|Jan de Timmerman]] and [[Jan van Ackeren (d. 1569)|Jan van Ackeren]]. Baltasar de Rosieres (Rogiers, Rogieris), an Anabaptist martyr, burned at the stake on the "Big Market" at Antwerp on 2 April 1569 with Jan de Timmerman and Jan van Ackeren. He was born at Doornik (Tournai) in Flanders, was 21 years of age, unmarried and a weaver by trade. He was seized with many others during a meeting of the Antwerp congregation early in February 1569, at the house of Jan Poote.
