Barent Heyndricksz Volkeringksoen, an Anabaptist martyr, was beheaded on 7 January 1539 at Delft, Dutch province of South Holland, with 10 other brethren. He was a native of "Ottensteyn in de Lande van Monster" (Münster in Westphalia?), and likely a follower of David Joris.
