Big Sky Hutterite Colony in Cut Bank, Montana, was founded in 1978 as a division from the Milford Hutterite Colony (Wolf Creek, Montana, USA).

A daughter colony of the Big Sky Hutterite Colony is the Hidden Lake Hutterite Colony (Cut Bank, Montana, USA).

In 2017 the Big Sky Hutterite Colony was a Lehrerleut colony.
