Francijntje Boer was a Dutch Mennonite poet, b. 18 October 1784, at [[Harlingen (Friesland, Netherlands)|Harlingen]], d. 7 March 1852 at [[Heerenveen (Friesland, Netherlands)|Heerenveen]]. She published <em>Dichtproeven</em> (1815); <em>Nieuwe Dichtproeven</em> (1821); <em>Gedichtjes voor kinderen</em> (1812); <em>Gedichtjes voor behoeftige kinderen</em> (1823); and <em>Laat ons leven tot elkanders nut en genoegen</em> (1850). She was not well-to-do; she earned the family's subsistence as a needle-woman and a cook-housekeeper.

Francijntje Boer was a Dutch Mennonite poet (18 October 1784, Harlingen-7 March 1852, Heerenveen). She published Dichtproeven (1815); Nieuwe Dichtproeven (1821); Gedichtjes voor kinderen (1812); Gedichtjes voor behoeftige kinderen (1823); and Laat ons leven tot elkanders nut en genoegen (1850). She was not well-to-do; she earned the family's subsistence as a needle-woman and a cook-housekeeper.
