Boundary Community Church (Midway, British Columbia, Canada)
Boundary Community Church is located within the village of Midway British Columbia, Canada. Midway is located in the West Kootenay region, 51 km east of Osoyoos.
In 1993 Vic and Mary Peters along with several other couples were led to start a church in the West Boundary. The first meeting was in their basement on 25 July 1993. In 1994 the congregation formally organized as Boundary Community Church.
The congregation originated through outreach by the British Columbia Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches Board of Church Extension and the Grand Forks Gospel Chapel.
In May 2017 Boundary Community Church purchased their own building, formally dedicating it to the Lord on 30 July 2017. Ironically the house where the congregation originated is visible from the parking lot of the new home of Boundary Community Church.
