Midway is located in southern British Columbia in the West Kootenay region, 51 km east of Osoyoos. It was originally known as Boundary City. Boundary Community Church began services in 1993 and formally organized in 1994. Vic and Mary Peters are considered the founding leaders of the group. The congregation originated through outreach by the [[British Columbia Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches|British Columbia Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches]] Board of Church Extension and the [[Gospel Chapel Fellowship (Grand Forks, British Columbia, Canada)|Grand Forks Gospel Chapel]].

Boundary Community Church is located within the village of Midway British Columbia, Canada. Midway is located in the West Kootenay region, 51 km east of Osoyoos.

In 1993 Vic and Mary Peters along with several other couples were led to start a church in the West Boundary. The first meeting was in their basement on 25 July 1993. In 1994 the congregation formally organized as Boundary Community Church.

The congregation originated through outreach by the British Columbia Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches Board of Church Extension and the Grand Forks Gospel Chapel.
