The Brookside congregation began services, formally organized and occupied its first building in 1974. The congregation originated through outreach by the Heidelberg and Calvary Conservative Mennonite Churches. It was originally known as Hesson Conservative Mennonite.

Located two km south of the intersection of Wellington-Perth Line 86 and Perth Road 131, eight km north of Milverton. Bishop Albert Brubacher served in 2016 as a congregational leader. The congregation has been affiliated with the Conservative Mennonite Church of Ontario (1974-). The language of worship is English.
