Pieter Brouwer, b. 20 October, 1820 at [[Utrecht (Utrecht, Netherlands)|Utrecht]], d. 15 January 1894, son of [[Brouwer, Pieter (1758-1832)|Pieter Brouwer]], studied at the [[Amsterdam Mennonite Theological Seminary (Kweekschool)|Mennonite Seminary]], was a pastor of the Dutch Mennonite churches of [[Gorredijk (Friesland, Netherlands)|Gorredijk]] and [[Lippenhuizen (Friesland, Netherlands)|Lippenhuizen]] 1844-1857, [[Warns (Friesland, Netherlands)|Warns]] 1857-1863, and [[Aalsmeer (Noord-Holland, Netherlands)|Aalsmeer]] 1863-1868. He published <em>Korte Belijdenis des Geloofs </em>(1st ed. 1850, 5th ed., n.d., 1889); <em>Leerredenen (gehouden te Aalsmeer 1870-74) </em>(Amsterdam, 1898), and two papers on catechetical instruction in <em>Geloof en Vrijheid </em>(1891 and 1893).

Pieter Brouwer, b. 20 October, 1820 at Utrecht, d. 15 January 1894, son of Pieter Brouwer, studied at the Mennonite Seminary, was a pastor of the Dutch Mennonite churches of Gorredijk and Lippenhuizen 1844-1857, Warns 1857-1863, and Aalsmeer 1863-1868. He published Korte Belijdenis des Geloofs (1st ed. 1850, 5th ed., n.d., 1889); Leerredenen (gehouden te Aalsmeer 1870-74) (Amsterdam, 1898), and two papers on catechetical instruction in Geloof en Vrijheid (1891 and 1893).
