Burchett Flat was a schoolhouse located three miles (five km) south of Relief, in Morgan County, Kentucky. The nearest large town is Paintsville. Mennonites (Mennonite Church), working under the Virginia Mennonite Board of Missions and Charities, conducted regular Sunday services in the schoolhouse beginning the summer of 1943. One baptized member and two resident workers were located near Relief in the early 1950s.
