Oscar Burkholder was a prominent Mennonite Church (MC) evangelist and Bible teacher. He was born 24 September 1886 in Pickering, Ontario, the son of Aaron W. and Agnes Wood Burkholder. He received a Biblical training at the Toronto Bible College. He served as pastor of the Cressman Mennonite Church in Breslau, Ontario from 1913 until 1954 and was ordained as bishop in 1949.
