Cleyndert, was a Mennonite family found in the Dutch Zaan district north of [[Amsterdam (Noord-Holland, Netherlands)|Amsterdam]]. Most of them originally belonged to the [[Groningen Old Flemish Mennonites|Groningen Old Flemish]] congregation of Oostzaandam. They usually were grain merchants, and some of them were deacons in the church.
