Coal Creek, What Cheer, Iowa, was listed as a preaching point of the Liberty (Mennonite Church) congregation in the Mennonite Year-Book and Directory, from 1913 (not listed in previous directory of 1908) through 1922. Services were held there once a month for the seven members.
