Gottlob Egelhaaf (1848-1934), rector of the Karlsgymnasium in Stuttgart. In his Deutsche Geschichte im 16. Jahrhundert bis zum Augsburger Religionsfrieden (2 vols., Stuttgart, 1889, 1892) he discusses the Anabaptists, but presents nothing new, dwelling principally on events in Zwickau and Münster, and on Wullenweber. The work is based on Cornelius, Egli, and Keller, as far as they were available at the time.
