Emmanuel Mennonite Church (Aberdeen, Idaho, USA)

Emmanuel Mennonite Church (General Conference Mennonite), sometimes known as Homestead, now extinct, located five miles southwest of Aberdeen, Idaho, a member of the Pacific District Conference, was organized 22 April 1912, under the leadership of Jacob Hege, who served as the first pastor.

The membership at the time the church was disbanded (December 1930) was approximately 75, consisting almost entirely of rural people. Other ministers who served the church were Leonard Dirks and John Toews. When the building was dismantled, some of the lumber was used in an addition to the First Mennonite Church in Aberdeen.
