(12 miles) north-east of Malbork (Marienburg), and 20 km. (12 miles) south-east of Nowy Dwór Gdański (Tiegenhof).

The 1776 Prussian census lists two Mennonite families in Eschenhorst (Eichenhorst) with the following surnames: Harms and Quiring. The 1820 census does not list any Mennonites in Eschenhorst.
