Fairfield Amish Mennonite Church (Tampico, Illinois, USA)

Fairfield Amish Mennonite Church, an independent congregation, located in Bureau County, near Tampico, Illinois, was organized in Shelby County, Illinois, with 42 members under the leadership of Levi C. Hostetler in 1933, and was moved to Henry County in 1938 and to Bureau County in 1944. In 1953 there were 144 members. In 2007 the membership was 187; the bishop was Norman L. Hostetler. The congregation is informally affiliated with the Amish Mennonite Churches.
