The Fairmount Mennonite Brethren in Christ Church is now extinct. In 1883 Mennonites from [[Henry County (Iowa, USA)|Henry County]], [[Iowa (USA)|Iowa]], located south of Fairmount, Prairie County, [[Arkansas (USA)|Arkansas]], and organized a [[Mennonite Brethren in Christ|Mennonite Brethren in Christ]] church, with John Krupp of Iowa serving as the first minister. In 1883 Mennonites from Henry County, Iowa, located south of Fairmount, Prairie County, Arkansas, and organized a Mennonite Brethren in Christ church, with John Krupp of Iowa serving as the first minister.
