Faith Mennonite Church ([[General Conference Mennonite Church (GCM)|General Conference Mennonite]]) is located one mile west and 3.5 miles south of [[Greensburg (Kansas, USA)|Greensburg]], [[Kiowa County (Kansas, USA)|Kiowa County]], [[Kansas (USA)|Kansas]]. After conducting Sunday school and church services in a schoolhouse for about two years under the leadership of Dennis Smith, the congregation organized in 1948 with 18 charter members and joined the [[Western District Conference (Mennonite Church USA)|Western District Conference]]. Curt D. Boese, the first resident pastor, began his full-time service on 1 September 1950. A frame church with full basement was built and dedicated on 27 July 1952. In 1955 the membership was 35, with Vernon Lohrentz as pastor.
