Fill (Vill, Villa) was a village near Neumarkt (Italian, Egna) in the Adige Valley of Tyrol, Austria. In the late 1520s Benedikt von Bruneck, a former lay priest, was active here in the Anabaptist cause. As a priest he had protested against the execution of heretics, and was called to account and promised to desist. But the courage, piety, and conduct of the Anabaptists won him completely. It was he who held Blaurock's congregation together after the latter's death and served it by preaching and baptizing in Fill and Tramin. The Hutterite chronicles list eight Anabaptists seized in Fill in 1529. They were Wolfgang of Mos near Deutsch-Nofen; Thoman Imwald near Aldain; Georg Frick of Wirtsburg; Mang Karger of Füssen; Christine Töllinger of Penon, a widow; Barbara of Thiers, the wife of Hans Portzen; Agatha Kampner of  Breitenberg, and her sister Elisabeth. They were taken to the castle and examined on the rack. They revealed that Wolfgang von Mos had been baptized in August 1528 with two companions by Michael Kürschner, who was later executed at the stake in Gufidaun. Thoman im Waldt was baptized by Blaurock, and Georg Frick by Benedikt, Elisabeth Kampner and Christian Tollinger by Blaurock, Barbara of Thiers by Benedikt, and Agatha Kampner in Switzerland near St. Gall by Tepich. They all remained steadfast and were executed.
